Easter, Soccer, Mother's Day & More!

The past few months have been busy!  The kids really got into Easter, like every holiday...they just love them.  I think we participated in 5 Easter Egg Hunts this year.  And most recently, we celebrated Mother's Day.  Again, Cooper was so excited for Mother's Day...he kept telling me this Mother's Day was going to be the best yet.  I think he was right!  I was able to join Cooper for snacks and songs Friday morning at school, the kids brought me flowers/balloon/cookie cake and sushi on Saturday and then we spent the day at the beach on Sunday!

Parker is now 2 1/2 and is doing great! At his checkup today he weighed 28lbs/4oz (38th percentile) and was 36" tall (44th percentile).  He will be starting at Cooper's school (M-W-F) in less than a month and we are really hoping he likes it!  The summer program does swimming each day with the kids, so I'm sure that will help with the transition.  He absolutely loves the pool.  He is an unbelievable swimmer, we seriously think he will be an Olympic swimmer one day.

Cooper is almost done with this pre-school year and will continue at the same school for summer camp.  He will then start VPK in August!  Where does the time go!!  Funny story, so they were searching for seashells at school and apparently he was trying to hear the ocean...so he put the shell close to his ear.  Still not hearing it, he decided to put it inside his ear and well it got stuck.  Luckily the urgent care was able to get it out.  The best part was, he said he heard the ocean!!  Cooper has been playing soccer for the past few months and loves it!  At his first game he scored 2 goals...1 for his team and 1 for the other.  Not bad, considering they had never practiced!  He's super aggressive and competitive and we have a feeling will do very well in sports.

Cooper and Parker have 3 NEW cousins!  My sister gave birth to her beautiful triplets: Piper, Harlow & Hudson on April 28th at 31 weeks. They are all happy and healthy and the boys can't wait to meet them when they come home from the hospital in a few months.
