Cooper graduated from Pre-Kindergarten and is so excited to start Kindergarten on August 10th. But before then he will be having surgery to have his tonsils and adenoids removed because they are enlarged. In addition, they will be replacing his ear tubes with a new set since one of them is blocked. The nurse said to prepare for the worst 2 weeks of our lives, so we are a little nervous! But in the end, I think it will be worth it for him. He has such trouble swallowing food and continues to snore and breathes mostly out of his mouth due to constant nasal congestion.
Parker is having a blast at summer camp, probably because they swim everyday! He is still obsessed with swimming. He is getting so big, I can't believe he's almost 4 years old.
The past month was full of fun and vacations. We took the kids to Legoland, where "everything is awesome"! It was a really cute park and perfect for their ages. We purchased annual passes, so we plan to go a few more times. We also met my parents out in Vail. The weather was delightful and a nice change from our high temps. The kids love it out west and all the outdoor activities. Lastly, we spent a week in Destin with my parents, sister and her family and my brother and his family. There were 16 of us! We stayed in a beautiful home just a block from the beach. Despite the entire house coming down with the flu, we had a great time and actually survived the 10 hour drive!!
