Spring Break to Summer Break!

Cooper and Parker had an exciting Spring Break. The boys and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas with 23 of our neighbor friends and then flew directly to Colorado to meet up with family. Snorkeling to sledding, can't beat that!

School is officially out for summer! The kids had a great 2nd semester. Cooper ended his 4th quarter with all A+'s. He was inducted into the National Honors Society and was awarded highest A in 8th grade Honors Math, Honors Science & English. He also received an Outstanding Academic Excellence Award! He is really looking to starting High School in the fall. Parker did fantastic as well and we are so proud of his determination to earn all A's & B's!

Summer is flying by already! Cooper spent the last week volunteering at his old preschool and Parker will join him next week. The kids are required to do 20 volunteer hours in middle school and 40 hours in high school, so it works out well getting those accomplished during the summer. Parker did a pickleball camp last week and was awarded the "serve specialist" for his outstanding serves. My brother and his girls were in town last week and the kids had a blast spending time swimming and tubing with their cousins!

Our summer trips begin next week! We look forward to our annual trip with my family to Colorado. The kids will fly straight from there to Ohio to visit their Grandma & Sam. They will then be home for a week, Cooper is doing this awesome fishing camp he does every year and Parker is doing a sports camp. Following that Bob and the boys will head to Michigan to see his family!
