We are happy to report that the kids have been in school in person since August 17th (we had a slight delay to our start date) and things are going well. Both boys are getting straight A's and are enjoying being back in class with their friends. Cooper (4th) and Parker (2nd) have both received Star Student awards from their teachers!
Cooper received his results from his gifted testing and we could not be prouder. He scored a 131 on the OLSAT, showing his IQ is that of a 9th grader. Fall sports have resumed and we are looking forward to watching Cooper play soccer and flag football. His football coach called the other day stating that he will be the starting QB and that he is something special. He said he is likely the best QB in the league! Parker will likely start advanced swim lessons soon, Covid closures threw a wrench in our initial plans but we are hopeful to get him started again. We would love for him to play baseball again, he's got an amazing swing and arm and loves to practice batting in the yard. Hopefully we can convince him!
As usual, we are getting excited for the holiday season...which means lots of decorating for us! The boys also have birthday's coming up and we cannot wait to celebrate Cooper turning double digits -- 10 and Parker turning 8!
