The kids had a wonderful holiday season this year, as usual! Thanksgiving was so nice, the kids loved spending time with all of their cousins in Orlando for a few days, swimming, building gingerbread houses and decorating Grammy's Christmas tree. Even though a few of our favorite things to do during the Christmas season were canceled this year, we were still able to continued the tradition of decorating our home Griswald style, toured Victoria Park lights, baked cookies with the kids (and they actually all turned out great!) and did our annual trip to Gaylord Palms with friends! We celebrated our New Year out in Alva, at my parent's new river home. Besides Bob falling 14 feet off a ladder(thankfully he was ok), we had a lovely time with family boating, tubing, jet skiing and relaxing by the bonfire. Despite all the magic the holiday season brought, I'm so sad to say we lost my beautiful Grandma. She was so special and lived a long, happy 100 years. She will be missed dearly.
The boys continue to do amazing in school. I could not be more proud of them both. The straight A streak continues. Cooper just started guitar lessons and absolutely loves it. Parker is continuing swimming lessons and just thrives in the pool. They are finally at the age where they can ride bikes to their friends homes in the neighborhood, on their own. They are loving this independence and are so fortunate to have such great friends in the neighborhood.
