The kids are doing well and are nearing the end of the school year. I can't believe I have an almost 5th and 3rd grader! Cooper participated in a track meet at school, unfortunately parents could not attend the meet or awards ceremony, but I was able to watch on a live stream and snap a few pictures from my computer screen. 😜 Cooper placed in all the running events (3rd place in the 100 yard dash, 400 yard dash and the mile)! He also began guitar lessons back in January and absolutely loves it! He did great at his first performance, which was in front of hundreds. Soccer started up again for Cooper and he scored 2 goals at his last game. Parker finished up a series of swim lessons focusing on different strokes and most recently began tennis lessons and is a natural! He will begin basketball at his school in a few weeks and we are looking forward to watching him. Parker also just got braces and he's so darn cute.
We enjoyed a long weekend at Disney a few months back and most recently went to Colorado for Spring Break with my parents and sister's family. That was quite the adventure, as we had to fly out a day early due to a major winter storm. Luckily we arrived right before the storm started and got to enjoy 4 days straight of falling snow. My parents organized several fun activities and the kids had a blast sledding, snowmobiling and taking a horse drawn carriage ride!
We most recently wrapped up Easter. It was full of egg hunts and wonderful family time!
