Spring Break, Easter & End of School Year!

These boys have been extremely busy the past 3 months! They enjoyed Spring Break in Colorado where they got to ski, sled and spend time with family. Meme and Papa from Michigan were in town and the boys loved spending extra time with them! Easter was fun filled with many egg hunts and lots of family and friends.

Cooper's travel soccer season came to an end, but not for long. He attended tryouts for a new team and made it and will begin summer training here soon! He is looking forward to that along with trying out for his middle school team in the winter and I'm hoping Track & Field. He continues to excel at guitar and has had a few great performances this past spring. He has also been doing speed and agility training at a new place called Redline Athletics and absolutely loves that too. Cooper chose Choir as his elective this past year and received the "Outstanding Musician Award" out of all the 5th grade students! School ended this past Friday and Cooper had A+'s in all subjects except Bible this quarter (he missed the A+ by one point and ended with a 98%). His academic accomplishments are quite amazing and we are beyond proud of him! In his spare time, he is seriously addicted to fishing and has become very good at it!

Parker finished up a great soccer season as well. He's amazingly athletic and thinks he wants to focus more on golf and tennis coming up. I am still trying hard for baseball, the kid is a natural! He also attends Redline Athletics and has gained so much muscle definition, it's crazy! He says he's working towards his 6-pack. Parker earned the sword drill winner this Spring. It was a huge accomplishment, because in the past we was very discouraged when they had to participate in these. He worked hard and it paid off! Parker's grades were also outstanding. He ended the quarter with straight A's. He excels at Math and had an A+ in that subject! In his spare time, he loves to collect Pokemon cards and coins. He can tell you just about anything on those two subjects!

The kickoff to summer has been great! They celebrated with friends at Defy, had sleepovers, boat rides, the beach and more!  They are looking forward to all their trips this summer! The boys are headed to Michigan, DC (Cooper...he was nominated by his teacher to attend the National Young Leaders Conference) and Colorado. We have a few camps sprinkled in between, which I think they'll enjoy!
