End of Summer & Back to School!

The boys finished the year strong back in June! Cooper got straight A's (All A +'s  in every subject with the exception of a A, 98% in history---he was not happy!) He won an award for highest grade in Math & Science out of all the 6th graders. What an accomplishment for him! Parker was not very happy either. He got all A's and one B + in reading. He was hoping for straight A's. But we were super proud of him as well!

The summer was an eventful one! We moved back in May, but not far....just a few streets away. We love our neighborhood and when this home came on the market, we jumped on it! The kids are so excited to have a pool and hot tub now. Parker lives in it! The boys did a few camps and then traveled to 3 different states and were gone for about a month this summer. They even flew by themselves for the first time! Their first trip was to Ohio to visit their Grandma. They got to explore Cincinnati and had a great time going to the Aquarium, horse farm and meeting Sam! They really enjoyed their time there. Once home, they had a few days and then the boys and I left for Colorado. We enjoyed the Vail 4th of July Parade, bike riding, hiking, fishing, a jeep tour and a dance party. Not even 24 hours after arriving home from Colorado, they left for Michigan. Their Meme was so kind and flew down to fly back with them, since the airline didn't allow kids under 16 to fly alone. The boys camped (which was a first) the beginning of the trip and had an awesome time hanging out with cousins and family they don't get to see very often. Bob flew in towards the end of the trip. The boys are so fortunate to have such an amazing family, without them they would not have had all these incredible new experiences. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts... Mom/Dad, Lynn/Sam & Ken/Becky!!!

School resumed a few weeks ago. Cooper started 7th and Parker 5th. Parker was beyond excited to be in class with 3 of his best friends this year. I'm a little nervous about that...hoping the teachers keep their desks far away from each other so they can actually learn! They both continue to do Redline to get their workouts in and Parker will start soccer next month with Cooper's school season to follow in October.

We loved having he boys here in Cincinnati. Next time we can all stay at the farm house, along with the AZ cousins. We’re so proud of the boy’s achievements!
