We just wrapped up Thanksgiving Break, and the boys only have three more weeks left until the end of the 2nd quarter. They’ve both done so incredibly well this school year! This fall was full of celebrations — birthdays and holidays back-to-back.
The kids’ fall break is always a great opportunity to get away for a few days, and we did just that. We visited Universal’s new theme park in Orlando, Epic Universe, and spent two days hanging out with friends, riding roller coasters, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Cooper turned 15 and got his learner’s permit. We celebrated with his favorite steak dinner at Ruth’s Chris, a fun weekend on the river with friends at my parent's place, and a family party at our house. Parker turned 13, and we had an absolute blast taking him and his friends to Great Wolf Lodge.
We also brought back one of our favorite traditions — a pre-Thanksgiving trip to Gaylord Palms in Orlando. (Lynn and Sam joined us!) After a few days of holiday fun, we made it back in time to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving Day at my parents’ house.
The house is decorated inside and out, and we are ready for the BEST time of the year. Wish us luck, the neighborhood decorating contest is in just a few weeks!!
