The holidays were an adventure, as always! My brother, sister in-law and nieces from Texas flew in for Thanksgiving and we had lots of fun boating and hanging out with everyone. Christmas was full of decorating and looking at lights. We were super happy to win the decorating contest in our neighborhood! We rang in the New Year out at my parents place on the river and the kids had a blast with their cousins.
Cooper is just finishing up his school soccer season and is looking forward to trying out for the school track team. He's also still playing the electric guitar and doing amazing in school finishing the 2nd quarter with 100 % in all classes except History (which he got a 98% in). He was very disappointed and said he's going to work extra hard to pull it up to 100% during the 3rd quarter. 🤣
Parker is still taking golf lessons twice a week and is looking forward to soccer season starting in a month or so! He also attends Redline Athletics a few times a week and had gotten so strong from the training. He finished his 2nd quarter at school with all A's and one B in reading. His teacher left and he now has a new teacher (that he's still trying to warm up to -- apparently he doesn't like them talking much and if you know Parker, that's hard to do!)
The boys and I are looking forward to going to Colorado for their spring break with my sister & her kids and my parents. Unfortunately, Bob and Brad will be working and can't join us.
